Howdy, my name is Amanda. My full pedigree name is "Lady Amanda Full of Hope"
I am an AKC registered Sable Collie. I was whelped on Jan 6th, 1993 in Knoxville, TN.
My original owners did not take good care of me, I had never been groomed until Jeff adopted me.
I looked like a shaggy orange retriever (the soil in Knoxville is orange).
I was rescued by Kathy Diggs who prevented me from being taken to the dog pound. I was adopted by Jeff in the summer of 1994.
It took six-months of vet care and intensive grooming to heal me and get me back to normal.
I have been a pampered and spoiled pooch ever since. On the last week of October 1998, I rode with Jeff across the country in the moving van.
Now I live in the Bay Area, California. Below are a few pictures of me in action.
